Museum Series Claybord is made from premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-certified Hardboard that is sealed and protected with Ampersands proprietary Archiva-Seal™ and coated with an acid-free kaolin clay ground that is perfect for mixed media. The ultra-smooth, absorbent clay surface allows for unlimited techniques: etching, erasing, reworking, adding color, and scratching it away to add contrast, texture, and fine detail. It is highly absorbent and accepts more mediums than any other surface. Excellent for India, pigmented, and alcohol inks.
